Nathan began his career as a strategy analyst at Deloitte Consulting where he focused on CNS market access strategy and pipeline lifecycle management. Following Deloitte, he entered the biotechnology venture ecosystem and has supported development of startup companies via direct leadership and advisor roles.
At Indigo Agriculture, a Flagship Pioneering company, Nathan led zero to one development of an online crop marketplace that served as a new business line for the company and complemented sales of its existing portfolio of microbiological crop input products. He subsequently served as Chief of Staff, onboarding a new CEO and partnering with the executive team on product portfolio strategy, fundraising, and internal transformations. Nathan moved from Indigo to Matterhorn Biosciences where he led all corporate operations including establishing the company’s US footprint and scaling business functions to support the company’s growth. He also worked with company leadership to facilitate R&D, prepare analyses for strategic dialogue with the board, and ultimately to lead an organized wind-down of the company.
Nathan has also advised a number of seed-stage startup companies on refining value hypotheses and building early operations to test them.
Nathan obtained his BA degree in Physics and Mathematics from Bowdoin College where he served as captain of the rowing team.
